Living up to its name, the peaceful Little Towaliga River runs through central Georgia hardwoods and can be seen from several different locations throughout your game. The club at River Forest is an 18 hole championship private club that opened in October 2004.

The course has five different sets of tees ranging from 6,725 yards from the back and 4839 yards from the ladies tees. Winding through the community the course hosts spectacular views of granite formations, picturesque native grasses and two large lakes. Because of the rural location the community is peaceful and relaxing as if you are miles from civilization.

The greens are a blend of A1 and A4 bentgrass that provide a year round quality putting service. The fairways, rough and tees are Tiftsport Bermuda grass that provides an excellent playing service. Starting on #1 with a natural rock wall and following the river throughout the course you will be sure to enjoy a great round of golf with friends.
